"If we hadn't superglued our hands together we'd be organising a trip"
Trips are essential to clubs and societies as they aim to give their students the best possible experience while at UWE. But how do you go about organising a trip?
Firstly, decide where you are going and how many of you are going. This will affect what transport you need - please come in and ask about this if you are unsure what you need.
Your first port of call is a trip form. For most trips this will be as much paper work as is needed. It includes details of where and when you are going and contact details in case of an emergency. The all important hand-in deadlines are below.
Trips within the UK:

|

Failure to hand-in forms in time may result in your trip not being authorised. All clubs and societies need to have an up to date Risk Assessment specific to the activity undertaken and venue. All those going on a trip must be members of the society in question.
You will be given a copy of your authorised Trip & Transport form (with the original remaining at the UWE Gatehouse) for your records. The procedure to follow in case of emergency is located on the second page of the form.
An example of the trip form and all the important sections are below. If you are interested in booking a coach or need another form of transport (flights, ferries, etc) please come and see us.
