Description
The Chess Society is a great opportunity for players of all abilities to get involved and interact with other UWE students & staff and with the wider community. Benefits of becoming a member include participating in the UWE chess tournament and playing matches with other chess clubs including Bristol University. Every member will get a chance to play in games against other clubs.
Where They Train / Meet
We meet on the 5th floor of F block at Frenchay campus, next door to SU Sports & Activities Centre. The provisional time is every Tuesday at 5pm. Over the last two years we had home games of Bristol and District league on Tuesdays at 7.30pm.
