About Student Reps
What does a Student Rep Do?
In short: Student Reps are the recognised means by which you can comment on your course, your university and your Students' Union. If you are concerned or want an input on your student experience, through student reps you can have your voice heard!
Student Reps represent students' view to the university at all levels of the organisation - right from your course and modular levels, to the very top of the university with the Academic Board at UWE.
Student Reps sit on various committees at a course and a faculty level, at which they act as the voice of students, ensuring that the university takes into account the needs of students in its decision making processes. Reps achieve this through liaising with the University and the Students' Union to resolve issues. By having your say you can really make a difference.
